Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut Blade Runner 2049 Movie Whiskey Cibi Glass

This is for the serious Blade Runner movie fan that must have all the cool stuff related to the movie. You get the exact same brand of glass Deckard used in Blade Runner plus the whiskey to drink.

In 2017 Johnnie Walker collaborated with filmmaker Denis Villeneuve on a limited-edition release: Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut.

The new whisky pays homage to Ridley Scott’s visionary 1982 movie Blade Runner, which was set in 2019 and gave audiences a visual taste of a 21st century Johnnie Walker Black in a geometric bottle. Now Villeneuve and Master Blender Jim Beveridge have gone back to the future to produce a Black Label from 2049.

“Like many fans, I remember the Johnnie Walker bottle from the first film, so it was a unique privilege to collaborate with Johnnie Walker on designing a totally original, custom bottle for the new movie,” says Villeneuve. “It was also a once-in-a-lifetime experience to help create the limited-edition Director’s Cut blend, which perfectly captures the complex and mysterious world of Blade Runner 2049.”.
The experimental blend is inspired by Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, and is presented in a futuristic bottle. With their trademark smokiness and a contemporary twist, Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut is a rich, smooth blend with aromatic and vanilla flavors and is bottled at 49% ABV as a nod to the futuristic period in which the film is set.
There were just 39,000 Director’s Cut bottles for the entire global allocation—27,600 of which ended up in the U.S.

Bottle is unopened, shrink wrapped and comes in a beautiful display box. Each box is also individually numbered on the back.

The glass is a work of art. The CiBi Double Old Fashion Crystal glass (12.5 oz.) by Italian Architect and Designer Cini Boeri (1973) is mouth blown and hand cut by master glass-makers in Colle val d' Elsa, Tuscany Italy. It features a square form cut diagonally at the corners and unusual tapering in the middle. It is the perfect gift for that Blade Runner fan who has everything but this crystal cocktail glass! The CiBi Double Old Fashion glass was made famous after appearing in the Ridley Scott movie Blade Runner (1981), in which Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard drank Johnnie Walker from it!
