Back in 2008 Rhino Entertainment part of Warner Music, five of the renowned Family Dog artists, known as the San Francisco Five and Jack Gallery collaborated to print, publish and remaster these iconic posters in limited-edition signed and numbered fine art lithographs. These premiered at Jack Gallery (now gone) and was the first time that this collection of remastered Family Dog images was shown prior to their traveling to galleries worldwide. These large format remasters were authorized by all party's involved.

This extremely sought-after print by Wes Wilson represents the first time that the image of a skeleton or skull was used in connection with the Grateful Dead. It's also famous for its pun on "The Quick and The Dead," which plays off the Quicksilver Messenger Service and the Grateful Dead appearing together at the Avalon Ballroom in June of 1966.
