Robert Giusti, renowned for Stephen King's It and Misery covers, had initially designed The Shining movie poster. Despite creating sketches Stanley Kubrick loved, the project shifted to Saul Bass. This ambitious private commission project revived Giusti's nearly forgotten sketches from 45 years ago, reflecting Kubrick's involvement and paying homage to Bass's iconic design. The yellow variant, chosen by Kubrick, adds a unique touch. The result is an abstract and special piece and Giusti's significant contribution to the world of film art.
